But that didn’t get them down and the next year they completed the first and only NFL Perfect Season, winning all 14 regular games,2 playoffs and Super Bowl VII. Incredibly they did not stop there but went on to win Super Bowl VIII .They also reached Super Bowl XVII and XIX. Their coach was Don Shula the most successful coach in NFL history.During their prolific phase in the 70s they had six future Hall of Famers playing for them and they carried on their amazing player profile in the 80s and 90s when Dan Marino became the most prolific passer in NFL history.In 2008,they won the AFC East championship.The team colors are Aqua, coral, navy blue, white and T.D the Dolphin is the team mascot. |

 Landshark stadium is the home of the Miami Dolphins and is located in the Miami Gardens suburb in Miami Florida. Apart from football the stadium also hosts lacrosse, soccer, and baseball. The stadium has hosted 4 Super Bowls (XXIII, XXIX, XXXIII, XLI), two World Series and three BCS National Championship Games . The stadium served as host for the second round of the 2009 World Baseball Classic, and will host Super Bowl XLIV and the 2010 Pro Bowl.When it was built in 1987, it was planned with foresight and state-of-the-art technologies were used. This is why now,even though it one of the oldest stadia in NFL it does not require renovation.The playing surface of the stadium is grass and was constructucted at a cost of 115
