The stadium is 27 years old, making it seventh-oldest stadium in major-league baseball. Metrodome is the tenth oldest stadium in the National Football League. It is affectionately nicknamed The Dome or the HHH Metrodome, and often nicknamed theHomerd.The stadium is well known for its fiberglass fabric roof . The Hubert H.
