Of all the tickets which are sold by the All England Lawn and Tennis Association, only the Debenture market tickets can be legally transferred from one person to another.  The Debenture market tickets are the finest tickets to be found on the Centre court at Wimbledon. Tickets are good for the entire day and provides you with access to all the outside courts which are seated on a first come first serve basis, with the exception of the show courts which require a seperate ticket. 

When the gates open:  The grounds at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club are open from 10:30 am daily and close approximately one hour after the end of play.  Play is scheduled to begin at noon midday on courts 2-19 for the first eight days of the tournament.  On Centre court, play will start at 1:00 pm each day of the Wimbledon tournament except for the last two days which begin at 2:00 pm.
