(KMOV) – After News 4 reported a local woman bought tickets for a concert which turned out to be fake; more music fans said they too were tricked into buying the counterfeit tickets. The woman who allegedly sold the fake Bruno Mars tickets emailed News 4 several times threatening to take legal action. She claimed that News 4 slandered her name and that she had nothing to do with this ticket scam. Emily Tongay wasn’t aware her Bruno Mars tickets were photocopies, until she arrived at the Scott trade Center and met several other people in the same situation. “We literally all had the same ticket, copied. Same section, same seat, same row; everything was the same,” Tongay said. The same were sold to Donna Craig whom News 4 talked to on Friday. News 4 has not identified the female ticket seller because she has not been charged at this time. Maryland Heights Police Department said they know who she is and tells News 4’s Jasmine Huda that she has an extensive criminal history including felony stealing.
