Street Sense Takes The Derby, Eyes The Preakness Stakes!

The Kentucky Derby was a thing of beauty this year as Street Sense came from behind in a stunning sprint to win the 133 running of the Kentucky Derby.  Street Sense, sent off as the 9-2 favorite on his home track, ran 1¼ miles in 2:02.17 and paid $11.80, $6.40 and $4.60 as the highest-priced winning favorite in Derby history.

Next up for Street Sense is the Preakness Stakes.  For race fans now is the time to book tickets to the Preakness Stakes.  If you’re not familiar with the layout of the race track, here is some information about the Pimlico Race Course you might find handy.
