Get Ready…the Euro Cup is coming to France in 2016.
For the first time, 24 nations will compete in the UEFA European Championship. France, as the host country will have an automatic spot. The other 23 entrants are determined by the European Qualifiers. The nine group winners, the nine group runners-up and the best third-placed side will go directly through to the finals. The eight remaining third-placed teams will compete in play-offs to determine the last four qualifiers that go to the finals. The lineup of the 24 contenders will be determined on December 12th when the draw takes place in Paris, France. The draw will be divided into 4 groups, with France automatically being included in team A1 along with Spain, as the reigning European champion. Groups 2,3, and 4 will have 6 teams, with each team drawn into 6 groups, designated groups A-F, of 4. The top 2 teams in each of the sections, plus the 4 best 3rd placed teams will advance to the round of 16.
The UEFA Euro Cup will be hosted in 10 cities in France which include: Paris, Bordeaux, Lille, Marseille, Saint-Etienne, Saint-Denis, Lens, Lyon, Nice and Toulouse.
Tickets are available for sale, and sold by categorie seating only. Category seating ranges from CAT A, being the best, to CAT D.
