Buying and Receiving Tickets

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and the Discover card. The billing address will be verified with your credit card company so you must use the exact address where your statements are sent. Should you require that the order be shipped to an alternate address we will require faxed authorization from you. The faxed authorization will include a signed copy of the Card Holder Verification Form along with legible copies of your driver's license and the credit card used during the purchase. This is done to protect both you and eSeats.com against fraudulent credit card use. 

All physical (lanyards, wristbands or hard stock paper tickets) are shipped via FedEx Express or UPS courier service and all deliveries require a signature. We do not allow any reroutes on the package. The courier must deliver it to the address on any package. They cannot deliver it to any other address. If you have any specific delivery requirements please make those arrangements when you place your order. Tickets are normally sent to your credit card billing address.

What are Mobile Transfer tickets?

Mobile Transfer tickets are digital tickets which are sent to you from the original buyer of the tickets using a ticketing platform such as Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, AXS etc to your email address. Once the tickets are transferred to your email addrress, you will need to click on the "accept" button in the body of the email. Once you do this, you'll be taken to a login screen on (Ticketmaster, AXS or SeatGeek etc) where you will enter the email address you provided on your order along with the password associated with the platform you are logging into. Once logged in to the ticketing platform, you'll be able to locate your tickets in you "My Events" or "My Tickets" or something similar on the app. When you get to the venue, you'll show the ticket barcodes on your phone to the ticket taker at the entry of the venue. Your barcode will be scanned and you will proceed to make your way to your seats.

If you need to share the tickets you received with other members of your group, look for a "Transfer" button near the tickets. This will let you distribute the tickets to members of your group.

If you do not have an account on the platform you are taken to, you'll be presented with the option to create an account. So, if the tickets are coming to you from Ticketmaster, you would need a Ticketmaster account. If it's coming from AXS, you will need to create an AXS account. The most important thing is to make sure to create your account using the same email address you used to place your order for the tickets on eSeats.com.

How do I print out my Mobile Transfer tickets?

Mobile Transfer tickets are digital tickets shown on your phone. Mobile Transfer tickets cannot be printed.

Will the person sending the tickets know I accepted them?

Once you accept the ticket, the sender will receive a notification that the tickets have been successfully transferred.

Will the person I transfer tickets to need a Ticketmaster account?

Yes, and it takes just a few seconds to create one. If they already have an account, be sure to use the email address associated with their Ticketmaster account, so it's even easier for them to accept their tickets.

I lost the email/text for my transferred tickets. What do I do?

Ask the sender to cancel the original transfer and to transfer the tickets again. Still not finding them? Try searching your email using the term “transfer” or by searching for the artist or event.

I accepted tickets but can't find them.

Do you have another Ticketmaster account? Were you using a device that was logged into another account?

Or did you accept tickets from a team or event's official site? If you accepted tickets on a different site, log in to that site and transfer them to the account you want them in. Most major events today such as Formula 1 events, US Open, Wimbledon etc use a ticket platform such as ticketmaster or AXS to manage their tickets. So if you're attending one of these big events check to see if there is an App for the event ie. US Open App (Ticketmaster), COTA app (Ticketmaster), BNP Paribas Open (AXS ) etc, where you can log in and accept / use your tickets. Locate your Mobile Transfer tickets by logging into your account associated with the team or venue.

Your FedEx tracking number will be located directly below the word INVOICE, on the mid right hand side of our email confirmation. If the FedEx package does not arrive by when expected, please contact our Customer Service Department. Since we require a signature on all deliveries most packages can be traced quickly. 

I purchased tickets from eSeats.com but cannot attend the event. What is your refund/return policy? There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any order once it is submitted to us. This policy is in place because when you purchase your tickets we secure and acquire those tickets for you and are not able to recover our costs. Please order tickets only after you are certain you want them. For information on how to resell tickets that you purchased from eSeats.com, please contact jenn@eSeats.com or call us at 1-800-660-6031 ext 221. 

If an event is cancelled for any reason other than an act of God (rainout, earthquake, flood, etc.), war, terrorism, strike, or lockout we will provide a full refund for the amount that you paid for the tickets. Any Shipping and Service charges are not refundable. TICKETS MUST BE RECEIVED BACK IN OUR OFFICE WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE CANCELLATION. We suggest returning tickets via certified mail or using a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery. In case of a rainout or strike for a sporting event, no refunds will be made. You must exchange the tickets at the ballpark for a seat to a future game that is still available. In all other instances mentioned above we will attempt in every case to obtain a refund from the original seller of the tickets; however, no refund or percentage of refund can be guaranteed. 

If an event is postponed, the tickets will be honored for the rescheduled event date. New tickets will not need to be issued. We are not able to offer customers refunds on postponed events. 

When you receive your tickets, keep them in a safe place. Unfortunately, tickets cannot be replaced if they are lost, stolen, or damaged. Please note that direct sunlight or heat can damage some tickets. 

The ticket-hold policy is set by each individual listing seller. Although we cannot guarantee that a particular seller will be willing to hold tickets, we will certainly ask them on your behalf. If we are able to have a seller hold tickets, they typically will allow an hour or two for you to make your final decision on whether or not to purchase the tickets.

Ticket Brokers
eSeats.com permits a number of professional ticket sellers to list their inventories on our site. Among our thoroughly screened listing sellers are reputable ticket brokers. A broker is defined as "One hired for a fee to negotiate purchases, contracts, or sales." A ticket broker does just that. There are people who want to sell their tickets and there are also people who want to buy those same tickets. There are two ways that a broker can do this. The broker can buy the tickets outright from the seller and hope that they can sell them. If the market drops or the tickets don't get sold the broker incurs the loss. The second way is the broker could take the tickets from the seller on consignment and keep a fee if they are sold. Either way a ticket broker puts the buyers and the sellers together for a fee. 

Ticket brokers generally sell their tickets at market prices which can be above or below face value. This price is known as the ticket's "market value." The only place you can purchase tickets at face value is through ticketmaster or a venue box office. However, it is important to note that these primary sellers often charge additional service fees creating actual prices that are higher than the amount listed on the face of the ticket. 

Ticket brokers specialize in obtaining desirable seats for high-demand and sold-out events. They get these tickets from a variety of sources including season ticket holders and individuals who have extra tickets for events. To obtain these high-demand tickets, brokers pay a premium, or a price often well above face value. They then sell these tickets at market value. The market value price for a ticket is determined by many factors including seat location, supply and demand, date and location of event, etc. 

In order to provide outstanding service and selection to consumers, eSeats.com includes a marginal mark-up on the tickets listed on our Web site. Like any business, whether it's a gas station or a grocery store, this mark-up covers operational costs, ticket order processing, packaging, etc. And just like other businesses, the market value for tickets fluctuates.
